@fullnr - use of comma for amounts above 999

Hi,

When using the @fullnr special function for higher amounts Clause9, starts to insert commas, f.e.: ‘three million, two hundred thousand’.

However, the rule in English seems to be not to insert a comma:

'*Rule 8b When writing out numbers above 999, do not use commas.

Incorrect: one thousand, one hundred fifty-four dollars, and sixty-one cents
Correct:one thousand one hundred fifty-four dollars and sixty-one cents"

Is this latest way of writing amounts in full correct. If so, how can I implement this so as that Clause9 writes it this way?

Thank you!

This was actually one of the first things we programmed back in 2016. We followed these rules:

…which seem to contradict your rules. Where exactly did you get yours (i.e. Rule 8B) from?

Either we have to drop the comma if your rule is much more convincing, or we have to create an additional preference in the Locale settings.
