How can I edit a clause just in a specific document without providing changes to the same clause in another contract?

You can convert a library clause to an independent ad hoc clause by selecting it and then clicking the pencil icon in the top left corner of the assemble document screen. Then you should click through to “Convert to independent adhoc clause" (see screenshot below).

Using the same menu, you can also replace the clause you want to edit by a copy, meaning you will save the new clause in your library and it will exist alongside its base clause.
