Indent of paragraph when article number reaches two digits

Hello,

I have some issue with my styling parameters but do not know which parameter is at stake.

Currently, if my article number only has one digit, then the text of the paragraph keeps perfectly aligned over several lines:

However, as soon as the article number goes up to 2 digits, then the text is no longer perfectly aligned:

I have tried tweaking the indent under “Base”, “Alignment of each paragraph” to leave more space between the paragraph number and the text but there is no difference.

How can I fix this?

Hi Astrid,

You are on the right track with the Justified → Hang amount, I just think 8 mm is too limited. Typically most designers will go for 13 mm or more (depending on the font size etc.), to make room for the problem you are describing…
